Just off the Ferry you will find the Bank House Bar.
The Bank house on Whiddy island is ideally located just metres away from the ferry dock. Ran by Tim and Kathleen O Leary, it offers old style hospitality and has a magnificent vista of Bantry harbour which makes it an ideal place for a relaxing lunch or a tasty snack accompanied by a refreshing pint of Guinness or a glass of wine.

It has a crazy Golf facility at the back and a little sandy Beach out front a seafront seating area .Well known locally for its fun and relaxed atmosphere the Bankhouse hosts regular live Sunday music sessions with local musicians in the summer months and is extremely family and child friendly. Bicycle hire is also offered at the Bankhouse but it is advisable to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
